🚨 Warm Weather Shipping Notice 🚨
During warmer months, LYK Buttah takes extra care to protect your Body Buttah from heat during transit.
Each Body Buttah is cooled before shipment and packaged with a dry ice pack inside an insulated thermal shipping bag to help maintain its consistency while in transit.
Because our Body Buttah is made with natural butters and oils and contains no synthetic hardeners, it can soften or melt when exposed to high temperatures. This is a natural characteristic of the product and does not affect its quality or performance.
Once your package arrives:
- 📦 Bring it indoors as soon as possible.
- 🚗 Do not leave your package in a car, mailbox, porch, or other hot area.
- 🌡️ Store your Body Buttah in a cool, dry environment, ideally around 65–72°F.
- ☀️ Keep away from direct sunlight and heat sources.
- ❄️ If your Body Buttah arrives soft or partially melted, place it in the refrigerator for 20–30 minutes to help it firm back up. DO NOT put in the freezer.
Please note: We take every precaution to protect your order from heat, but once a package is delivered, LYK Buttah cannot control the temperature or conditions it is exposed to. Proper storage immediately after delivery is important for maintaining the intended whipped texture.
Warm-weather shipping materials are used as needed based on seasonal temperatures and destination.
